Strategic Pillar 4: Melbourne’s competitiveness – To ensure Melbourne remains a top choice for business, investment and enterprise, Melbourne will sharpen the city’s cost-competitive edge and remove barriers for firms of all sizes.

Strategic Pillar 5: Melbourne’s liveability – Beyond major economic initiatives, Melbourne must maintain its reputation as one of the world’s most liveable and socially cohesive cities. Success depends on vibrant streetscapes, green spaces, cultural activation, safety, accessibility and high- quality transport.
