City of Melbourne wants to help businesses on their journey to net zero. That’s why we’re a partner in CitySwitch, a free program that supports office-based businesses to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

CitySwitch is Australia’s flagship decarbonisation program for office-based businesses.

The free-to-join national program, run in partnership with other local governments across Australia, supports office-based businesses on their journey to net zero greenhouse gas emissions.

CitySwitch provides support to these businesses through:

  • national lunch and learn webinars aligning with three education campaigns per year.
  • practical guidance, tools and case studies on emissions reduction focus areas.
  • in-person local workshops, meetups and networking events with like-minded businesses.
  • one-on-one support from a local program manager in participating Council areas.

CitySwitch External link focuses its education campaigns and resources around the seven pathway focus areas and 16 actions that all businesses can take to reduce their emissions. Businesses joining the program can start their net zero journey at any point on the pathway.

Around 2.5 million square meters of Australian office space is signed up to CitySwitch. Join the many businesses in City of Melbourne and beyond who are decarbonising their operations and positively accelerating climate action. Contact us via the details below to get involved.
