Lord Mayor and Councillors

The Melbourne City Council comprises a Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor and nine councillors. The Council was elected in November 2024.

The new Council was sworn in at a ceremony on Tuesday 19 November 2024.

Model Councillor Code of Conduct

All councillors are required to observe the Model Code of Conduct which is prescribed in Schedule 1 to the Local Government (Governance and Integrity) Regulations 2020.
