Building retrofits

Commercial buildings account for 60 per cent of the City of Melbourne’s carbon emissions, with a large share of these emissions coming from mid-tier office buildings. From 2023, over 80 mid-tier office properties will need to undergo a zero-carbon ready retrofit each year to reach the city’s goal of net zero emissions by 2040.
