How we support the multicultural business community
City of Melbourne undertakes a broad range of activities that support diaspora groups in the municipality, including in areas such as social welfare, student assistance, business development, community and cultural events, programs, and grants.
As part of our international engagement, City of Melbourne works with and supports diaspora by:
- connecting with diaspora business people who want to be involved in our international projects
- supporting entrepreneurialism through facilitating connections and capacity building programs
- celebrating and profiling the international success of diaspora-owned and managed businesses, and diaspora involved in international business
- running events and networking opportunities for our markets of focus
- involving international students in business-related events.
