Firelight Festival is Melbourne’s premier free winter event, renowned for its vibrant multicultural atmosphere, cozy and ambient experience, and inclusive community engagement. Firelight brings people together in a shared experience of fire, light, culture, music and culinary delights, while illuminating the heart of Docklands.

From towering luminous creatures, roaming performances and fire dancers, to genre-bending live music and interactive storytelling, the festival invites audiences of all ages to explore, connect, dance, and bask in the warmth of winter together.

Firelight Festival takes over Docklands across sites at NewQuay Promenade, Victoria Promenade and Harbour Esplanade. Firelight is a free event that does not require bookings. Simply turn up and enjoy free entertainment all night long!
