City of Melbourne's Multicultural Hub is a place for people of all cultures to connect, learn, try an activity or get information about living in Melbourne.

Our Multicultural Hub is a place for community to connect with each other and get information about living in Melbourne.

You can ask our staff and volunteers about:

  • information translated in your preferred language
  • Council services
  • community events and activities
  • community meeting spaces
  • English classes
  • transport around the city
  • employment programs
  • settlement support
  • housing providers
  • meal services
  • and more.

Bookings can be made 9am to 9pm, any day except public holidays.

Most rooms can be booked for a minimum of three hours, up to all day.

Bookings are essential and fees apply. Booking fees and online booking link are available on the individual room pages.

Your booking request is only secured when you receive an email confirmation.

If the space you request is not available, we will make every effort to offer an alternative.

Equipment and services

The Multicultural Hub has equipment and services available for hire to support room bookings.

The minimum booking for equipment and services ranges from three hours to one day.

Walk

A short walk from Melbourne’s city centre.

Tram

Take route 19, 57 or 59. Exit at Stop 7 - Queen Victoria Market.

Train

Exit at Melbourne Central Station and take a short walk.

Drive

 Pay to park in an off-street carpark nearby, or pay for metered parking on the surrounding streets.

Cycle

Secure your bike at the bicycle hoops in the surrounding streets.
