You must get permission or approval to do work that may impact assets we manage. If you want to dig or do service works anywhere in the road, you must get consent for works. This used to be called a road opening permit.
You must tell us if you want to:
- build, change or remove footpaths, kerbs or channels, or vehicle crossings.
- do work that may affect stormwater runoff from your property.
There are also special requirements for boundary traps and connections to fire services.
