Plaques and Memorials Policy

The Plaques and Memorials Policy covers all plaques and memorials being placed in any public space within the City of Melbourne municipality whether this be in a street, square, park or garden.

​All plaques and memorials will be required to conform to the policy.

The policy does not cover signage, display boards, banners or public artworks.

Design and Construction Standards

The Design and Construction Standards may be pertinent to the creation and placement of plaques and memorials.
