To celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2026, Fiona Gatt will deliver a special talk to highlight and unravel their collective history and the story of some well- and lesser- known individuals.

Dr Fiona Gatt has worked on commissioned histories for significant organisations and has taught history at Deakin and La Trobe universities. Fiona is currently a Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (remotely) and Senior Research Officer at the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation. Her first book, Old North Melbourne, was published by Australian Scholarly Publishing in late 2025.
