Incontinence product disposal bins

According to the Continence Foundation of Australia, at least 1.34 million Australian boys and men are living with incontinence daily.

It is an issue that can affect the emotional and physical health of people and prevent them from attending school or work, participating in sport and engaging socially.

To help address this issue, the City of Melbourne has a free incontinence product disposal bin service in the all-gender toilets at the following locations:

  • Carlton Baths – 248 Rathdowne Street, Carlton
  • City Library – 253-265 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
  • East Melbourne Library – 122 George Street, East Melbourne
  • Jean McKendry Neighbourhood Centre – 91-111 Melrose Street, North Melbourne
  • Kathleen Syme Community Centre – 251 Faraday Street, Carlton
  • Kensington Maternal and Child Health Centre – 81a Altona Street, Kensington
  • Kensington Neighbourhood Centre – 18 Anthony Street, Kensington
  • Lady Huntingfield Early Learning and Family Services Centre – 89-97 Haines Street, North Melbourne
